What is Know.it?
Know.it is an AI-powered visual learning platform. Ask any question and it builds a 2–5 minute lesson on the spot — real voice narration plus animation that shows the idea, not just words on a screen.
How Know.it works
Every lesson is generated live, in four steps:
- You ask. Type any question, or state a learning goal.
- An AI plans the lesson. A language model writes a storyboard — the beats, the narration, and which visuals to draw.
- The scene engine animates it. Diagrams draw themselves, equations solve step by step, and objects actually move — composed from animation primitives, not stock video.
- A voice narrates. Text-to-speech reads the lesson in your language, synchronized to the visuals, streaming beat by beat so playback starts fast.
What makes it different
- Visuals depict the concept. The apple actually falls; the reaction actually happens — the animation teaches, it doesn't just decorate.
- Curiosity-first. Lessons open with a hook or a surprise, not a dry definition.
- Multilingual. English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu — plus natural Hinglish and Minglish.
- Goal-based courses. State a goal and Know.it builds a step-by-step course of visual lessons.
- A free Public Library of community-published lessons anyone can watch.
Who it's for
Know.it is built for visual learners — students, self-learners, and curious people who grasp ideas faster when they can see and hear them. Whether you're revising for an exam, exploring a new field, or just satisfying a sudden "wait, how does that actually work?", you get a clear, vivid answer in minutes.

Frequently asked questions
- What is Know.it?
- Know.it (knowit.guru) is an AI-powered visual learning platform. You ask any question and it generates a 2–5 minute lesson in real time — synchronized voice narration plus animated visuals that depict the concept, not pre-recorded video.
- How does Know.it work?
- When you ask a question, an AI planner writes a lesson storyboard, a scene engine renders animated visuals (diagrams that draw themselves, equations that solve step by step, objects that move), and a text-to-speech voice narrates. Playback streams beat by beat, so it starts before the whole lesson finishes generating.
- Who should use Know.it?
- Students, self-learners, and curious people who understand ideas better by seeing and hearing them than by reading long text. It also helps anyone pursuing a goal — like 'learn Python from scratch' — through a guided, visual course.
- What makes Know.it different from ChatGPT or a search engine?
- ChatGPT and search return text. Know.it turns the answer into a narrated, animated lesson where visuals depict the concept. It also supports Indian languages and code-mixed Hinglish/Minglish, and builds goal-based courses.
